Jose Figueroa also known as 'Figs', former professional player in Puerto Rico, began his USA baseball journey in a humble garage setup, where the first generation of Figs Baseball players trained.

In 2017, he started offering personal training and batting lessons, quickly earning a strong reputation across Puerto Rico and the U.S. That same year, he launched a 14U team and opened a 5,000+ sq ft indoor facility expanding into multiple age groups.

Despite the challenges of 2020, Figs Baseball resumed training safely, giving dozens of students from Latin America and the Caribbean the chance to continue their athletic and academic careers in Florida and has helped 100+ players to get college commitments.

Coached in Osceola high school and other teams, Jose co-founded baseball programs in multiple institutions including Reborn Christian Academy and currently Southeastern Preparatory Academy(SEPA) as a director and now is overseeing the development of this app that connects the young players, coaches, parents and the entire baseball community together.
